Сингапурская система образования в контексте исторического развития

Аннотация
Настоящая статья посвящена истории формирования системы образования в Сингапуре – городе-государстве, который, в отличие от многих бывших колоний, после обретения независимости не только удачно вписался в международную систему разделения труда, но и стал своеобразным эталоном модернизации традиционного общества в современных условиях. Предмет исследования – сравнительный системный анализ образовательной системы Сингапура в контексте исторического развития. Выявлена специфика развития системы образования в Сингапуре, обусловившей его лидерство по обозначенному показателю в регионе Юго-Восточной Азии. Применение системного, типологического, сравнительного и ретроспективного методов исследования позволило констатировать противоречие между формированием наднационального и национального типов личности. Описан процесс совмещения двух указанных тенденций в образовательной политике. Обозначены как достижения, так и недостатки, выявленные в процессе развития системы образования Сингапура, предпринята попытка прогноза ее дальнейшего развития. Использование методов философской герменевтики и истории повседневности осуществлено в контексте изменившихся подходов к изучению исторического процесса. За основу взяты принципы социокультурной истории, разработанные английскими историками XX в.
