Author Guidelines
- The Journal, qualified as K1 (category 1) in the Higher Attestation Commission list, publishes high-quality original articles and reviews in history and archaeology, as well as philology and legal sciences.
- The main text of the manuscript (not including Abstract, References, and Author Information) should be at least 25 000 characters with spaces.
- The manuscript must be well-structured, with the IMRAD format (Introduction, Methods, Results, Discussion) strongly recommended. However, you can use an alternative format if it is more suitable for your research. Please consider that the Introduction and Conclusions sections are mandatory for all manuscripts, regardless of the selected structure.
- Manuscripts arranged as a continuous text, without a division into separate sections, are difficult to read and thus not considered for publication.
- Make sure to include a Conflict of Interest section (see Manuscript template) listing all potential competing interests, if any, or personal circumstances that could be perceived as inappropriately influencing the representation or interpretation of reported research results. If there are no conflicts of interest, please state: “The authors declare no conflicts of interest.”
- In order to be considered for publication, your submission needs to contain: MS Word manuscript file (DOC, DOCX, or RTF). Please follow the Manuscript template guidelines.
- All manuscripts submitted to the Journal undergo a thorough check for plagiarism and self-plagiarism. If there is any evidence of plagiarism and/or self-plagiarism, the manuscript will be immediately rejected. Other consequences involve the Authors being barred from submitting their future works to the Journal.
- Manuscripts are not considered for publication if they do not meet the Journal’s formatting and style guidelines, fail to comply with the general standards for academic publications, show a high percentage of plagiarism and/or self-plagiarism, or have language problems that affect their quality, such as extremely poor spelling, grammar, and style.
- Manuscripts rejected at the pre-review stage are not subject to further consideration or resubmission. No reasons for pre-review rejection are disclosed.
- All manuscripts submitted to the Journal are reviewed. The final decision on whether to publish the submission is made by the Editorial Board of the Journal based on the Reviewer’s report.
- The submission can be rejected either during the review or editing stages.
- If rejected, the manuscripts are not sent back.
- No charges for manuscript submission, processing, and publication are applicable.
