«Незримый» или «недоступный»: проблема доступа к царю в Ахеменидской империи

Аннотация
Статья посвящена исследованию феномена «незримости» / «недоступности» персидских царей Ахеменидской империи, а также его отражению в античной историографии. Особое внимание уделено анализу трудов Геродота, Ктесия Книдского, Ксенофонта и других авторов, освещавших социальные, политические и культурные аспекты царской изоляции. Рассмотрены истоки и эволюция указанной традиции, включая ее взаимосвязь с идеологиями мидийских и ассирийских монархий. Выделены прагматические основания ограничения доступа к царю, такие как обеспечение безопасности, регламентация придворного этикета и поддержание социальной дистанции в рамках дворцовой иерархии. Сделан вывод о том, что «незримость» персидских царей была во многом продуктом античных стереотипов и практических соображений, а не осознанной политики полной изоляции монархов.
